Jiujiang University is one of the first 22 Chinese language teaching bases over China by Oversea Residents' Affairs Office of State Department, and School of Culture Communication engages the main work on Chinese language popularization and oversea Chinese education.

We cooperate with Southeast Asia countries on Chinese education in recent years, and sent 8 teachers to Thailand, Philippines, and Cambodia for Chinese education communication, above 30 students for practice of teaching Chinese as foreign language. Since 2005, over 100 teachers on oversea Chinese education from above ten countries such as England, America, German, Luxemburg, Greece, get trained in our school. In 2008 we settle Chinese language teaching base in Cambodia, and the first group of graduates have been there.

         九江学院是 2000年国务院侨办全国首批22个华文教育基地之一。文化传播学院承担对外汉语推广和华文教育的任务。向东南亚地区输送合格的汉语教学和华文教育的人才是文传学院对外汉语专业办学的目标和特色。

         近年来，我们积极开展与东南亚各国的华文教育合作，先后派出8位教师分赴柬埔寨、菲律宾、泰国从事华文教育和学术交流，先后有5届学生赴东南亚实习。我们在泰国，柬埔寨分别设立华文教育实习基地。自2005年以来，先后分期分批对英国、美国 、德国、卢森堡、希腊等十多个国家的100余名华文教师进行了专业培训。
